Train Man
By Andrea Zimmerman

Train Man

A young boy is playing with his train set and he tells readers how much he loves trains. Also in the picture is his little brother and he is sure that his brother loves trains too. Our protagonist is going to be a train man when he grows up—perhaps an engineer or perhaps a conductor. He takes his train into the station where friends and family wait; he lets his brother wear his hat and blow the train whistle, and he loves to announce the train’s departure with an “All Aboard.” This boy has a great imagination as he takes the train across a bridge, up the mountains, through a dark tunnel and finally back to the station for the night. The pictures are full of details and make this fantasy trip seem almost real. Board book, 9 x 9", 32 pages, ages 2 and up.
